Heuer Regatta Ref. 134.603 - Vintage yachting timer from the 1980s, specifically part of the 600 Series introduced in 1983. This reference is most notable for its Grey (Pewter) PVD-coated stainless steel case, a rarer finish than the more common black (134.601) or olive green (134.602) versions. This one is Circa 1986 per the Serial Number.

Regatta Countdown Mechanism: The dial features five circular apertures that act as a 10-minute countdown timer.

• T-10 to T-5: When activated, the apertures turn blue. As each minute passes, they rotate to reveal orange.

• T-5 to Start: Once all five are orange, they gradually transition to grey (matching the dial) until the 10 minutes are up.

• Movement: Powered by the Lemania Calibre 1345 automatic movement, a specialized self-winding engine designed specifically for these flyback countdown complications.

• Case Dimensions: It features a rugged cushion-shaped case measuring approximately 42.5mm in diameter and 15.5mm in thickness, with a lug-to-lug distance of roughly 47.8mm.

• Design Details: The watch typically includes a unidirectional rotating diver-style bezel, a mineral crystal, and a bright orange central "flyback" chronograph hand for high visibility on the water.
