Tribute to Fifty Fathoms MIL-SPEC; Blancpain re-interprets one of its vintage pieces from the 1950s, the Fifty Fathoms with a water-tightness/moisture indicator on the dial. ;

(On this watch, most notably the typical MIL-SPEC moisture indicator aka 'water-tightness' indicator appears at 6 o'clock, serving to alert the wearer to any humidity seeping into the case by switching from white to red. This Blancpain invention was developed in the 1950s to complement the specifications already defined by the 1953 Fifty Fathoms, which was tested and adopted that same year by the French Army Combat Diving Corps.)
