'Marina Militare' is a special designation reserved for Panerai Special Edition 'Tribute' models produced to celebrate the historical relationship between Panerai and the Italian Navy aka 'Marina Militare.'  There have been less than 10 Marina Militare special edition models ever produced.  This example, the PAM217 Marina Militare Destro is a discontinued Special Edition and was made in only 1000 pieces, initially released in 2005 for 'H' series and released in limited quanties over the course of 3 production years. 

Sporting a 47mm stainless steel case with highly exaggerated domed crystal--this watch is a head turner.  This example is H #000x/1000.

Unfortunately the original owner misplaced the Special Edition box set which had all of the papers booklets and special edition certificates.  For that reason, this watch comes delivered in a SecondTime padded Travel/Carry case.  That also explains why we are able to give you such a killer deal on this very collectible and rare watch.  (No other boxes, papers or certificates are included other than the Panerai PAMguard serialized Certificate showing this watch has been registered in Panerai's PAMguard ownership registry.  When you buy this watch, you will be able to transfer ownership of this watch into your own Panerai PAMguard account.)
